SF Marathon Modesto had 29 marathoners complete this hilly course and Shadowchase's own Gale Crossman captured 1st in his age group (65-69) 4:00:15.

Tahoe Rim Trail 100 Mile Run. Vance Roget, Linda McFadden and Jon Olsen all complete 100 miles at high altitude above Lake Tahoe. See Vance's finishing video.

Badwater Local runner Panfilo Jimenez had the honor of pacing and crewing Oswaldo Lopez to a second place finish at Badwater.

ShadowChase Running Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes running- and fitness-related activities in the greater Modesto area. During 2009, ShadowChase returned more than $15,000 back to the community with the purchase of two drinking fountains and donations to several middle- and high-school running programs.

Our members represent a broad range of fitness-related interests and abilities. Some jog an occasional mile, a few are accomplished marathoners. But most of us just like to get outside and run a leisurely pace at whatever distance catches our fancy that day. We even have walkers, people who jog with their canine campanions and baby joggers.
