Timing Services

ShadowChase Running Club provides timing services at races in Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties. Among the ones the club already times are the Don Osborne Library Run, Ripon Almond Festival Run, Oakdale Chocolate Run, Modesto Turkey Trot, Cancer Awareness Run, Kaiser Permanente Modesto Classic, Escalon Park Fete and Color the Skies Balloon Run in Ripon.

As part of our timing services, ShadowChase will set up the finish line and clock, time the runners as they come across the finish line, provide a computerized print-out of all age-group winners and overall winners and their times, and post the results on the club's Web results page.

The club has a minimum call-out fee of $300 for races with up to 100 runners. For every runner over 100, add an additional $3 apiece. So if your race has 75 runners, the cost would be $300. If you have 101 runners, it would be $303. And if you have 200 runners, it would be $600.

In order for ShadowChase to time your event and provide the computerized results print-out, you must provide the club with names, ages and genders of all preregistered runners, along with assigned bib numbers, saved as an Excel file. We will help you set up the file.

If your organization would like to rent just the clock so you can time your own race, the fee is $200 for clock rental and $50 for other race-course equipment rental.
