December 10th, 2011 marked the 2nd Annual Spirit of Giving Run/Walk & Ride

625 participants finished the 5k run/walk and 65+ bicyclists rode the 12 mile bike ride.

Almost doubling last years numbers of participants.

The Modesto Turkey Trot & Gobbler Walk

Thousands of runners and walkers came out to support the MJC cross country program on Thanksgiving morning. CNN reported that the Grinch was chased out by some Pilgrims & Pocahontas from Modesto’s Turkey Trot. No injures where reported but they did find little green droppings in the same area where this photo was taken. Giggles.
