In the 1-mile, medals three deep in each 10-year age group: 0-9, 10-12, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,70-plus
In the 5K, medals three deep in each five-year age group: 0-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-plus
5K prize money: $100 to first-place male and female winners; $75 M/F second place, $50 M/F third place. Masters overall M/F receive $50 each. Only one monetary award per person.
Record-breaking bonus: A $100 bonus will be paid to the first male and first female runner who break the male and female overall 5K course records, respectively.
Overall men's and women's 5K winners receive a pair of Brooks running shoes donated by Fleet Feet Stockton and Brooks. One lucky raffle winner also will receive a pair of Brooks running shoes from Fleet Feet Stockton and Brooks.
Medals to all finishers in the kids' fun run. The free Kaiser Permanente Kids' Run is open to those 10 years and younger.

Whicking (tech) shirts guaranteed only for pre-registered runners, so don't wait! Pre-registered entries must be postmarked by May 17. (No t-shirts for the free kids' fun run.)

All registered runners will be eligible for raffle prizes, but you must be present to win.
Race proceeds benefit the nonprofit ShadowChase Running Club and running-related activities around the community.
